Terms of Use

Last updated: August 2026

Welcome to Degmen.

These Terms of Use apply when you use the Degmen website, customer portal, warehouse services, parcel-forwarding services, shopping assistance, sourcing assistance, and related services.

By using Degmen services or creating a Degmen account, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Degmen

Degmen provides assistance and logistics services connecting customers with Türkiye.

Our services may include:

  • providing customers with a Türkiye warehouse address;
  • receiving parcels purchased by customers;
  • international parcel forwarding;
  • shipment tracking and customer portal services;
  • shopping assistance;
  • product sourcing assistance; and
  • other services agreed directly with the customer.

Customers may purchase products directly from Turkish websites, stores, suppliers, marketplaces, or other third parties and have those products delivered to the Degmen warehouse.

Unless Degmen specifically states otherwise, Degmen is not the seller, manufacturer, or retailer of products purchased by customers.

2. Customer Accounts

Some Degmen services require a customer account.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and current information and for keeping their account credentials secure.

Customers must use the warehouse address, customer identification number, parcel information, and other instructions provided by Degmen correctly.

Incorrect or incomplete information may prevent or delay identification and processing of a parcel.

3. Purchases From Third-Party Sellers

When a customer purchases a product from a website, store, supplier, marketplace, or other third party, the purchase is between the customer and that seller.

Degmen is not responsible for a seller’s:

  • product descriptions;
  • prices;
  • availability;
  • product quality or authenticity;
  • size, colour, specifications, or suitability;
  • warranties;
  • order cancellations;
  • refunds;
  • replacements; or
  • other actions or policies.

Customers should review the seller’s product information and terms before purchasing.

If Degmen separately agrees to provide shopping or sourcing assistance, the scope and price of that assistance will be agreed with the customer.

4. Receiving Parcels at the Degmen Warehouse

Customers may send eligible purchases to the Degmen warehouse using the address and identification information provided by Degmen.

When a parcel is received and successfully identified, relevant parcel information may be recorded and displayed through the Degmen customer portal.

Receiving a parcel at the warehouse does not mean that the parcel has been approved for international transportation or added to an international shipment.

A parcel must satisfy the applicable shipping requirements and required payment must be completed before it can be included in an international shipment.

5. Weight, Dimensions and Chargeable Weight

Degmen may weigh and measure parcels after they arrive at the warehouse.

Shipping calculations may consider:

  • physical weight;
  • length;
  • width;
  • height;
  • volumetric weight;
  • minimum chargeable weight;
  • destination;
  • applicable shipping rate; and
  • any applicable special handling or transportation requirements.

Where volumetric weight applies, a parcel’s dimensions may result in a chargeable weight that is greater than its physical weight.

The applicable chargeable weight and shipping amount will be calculated according to the Degmen shipping rules in effect for the relevant service.

6. Minimum Chargeable Weight

Degmen may apply a minimum chargeable weight.

Where the applicable minimum is 1 kg, a parcel weighing less than 1 kg will be charged as 1 kg.

Above the minimum, weight may be calculated or rounded according to the applicable service rules.

Customers should refer to the shipping calculation or price information provided by Degmen for the applicable chargeable weight and price.

7. Shipping Rates and Additional Charges

Shipping charges may depend on physical weight, volumetric weight, chargeable weight, parcel dimensions, destination, service type, and the applicable Degmen rate.

Certain products or parcels may require special transportation, handling, documentation, packaging, customs processing, or other arrangements.

For example, some cosmetics, liquids, batteries, oversized products, unusually shaped parcels, fragile goods, or regulated products may result in additional charges or special requirements.

Where Degmen becomes aware of an additional charge before shipment, the applicable amount will be communicated to the customer.

Shipping rates and service charges may change from time to time. The applicable amount for a parcel will be communicated or displayed before the parcel is included in an international shipment.

8. Payment Before Shipment

Degmen does not add a parcel to an international shipment before the required payment has been completed and confirmed.

A parcel may be received, weighed, measured, and recorded at the warehouse while still waiting for payment.

Only parcels that satisfy the applicable shipping requirements and have the required payment confirmed are eligible to be included in an international shipment.

Failure to pay may delay the parcel’s shipment.

9. Compliance With Country, Customs and Carrier Rules

Degmen respects and operates in accordance with the applicable laws, customs requirements, transportation rules, and carrier requirements of the countries involved in a shipment.

Customers are also responsible for ensuring that products they purchase or send through Degmen comply with applicable rules.

A product that can legally be purchased in Türkiye is not necessarily permitted to be transported internationally or imported into the destination country.

An item may be:

  • prohibited;
  • restricted;
  • subject to quantity limits;
  • subject to customs requirements;
  • subject to additional charges;
  • subject to special packaging or handling;
  • subject to documentation or approval requirements; or
  • refused by a transportation provider.

Rules may differ according to the product, origin, destination, transportation method, carrier, and applicable law.

10. Prohibited and Restricted Goods

Customers must not knowingly use Degmen to transport goods that are illegal or prohibited under applicable laws, customs rules, safety requirements, or carrier rules.

Certain categories of goods may be prohibited or restricted depending on the applicable route and rules. Examples may include certain:

  • perfumes;
  • cosmetics;
  • liquids and aerosols;
  • batteries;
  • medicines and medical products;
  • chemicals;
  • food products;
  • hazardous or flammable materials;
  • weapons or controlled items; and
  • other regulated goods.

This is not a complete or permanent list.

Laws, customs requirements, and carrier rules may change.

Customers who are uncertain about a product should contact Degmen before purchasing it or sending it to the Degmen warehouse.

11. Customer Responsibility for Non-Compliant Goods

Customers are responsible for following Degmen’s shipping instructions and applicable legal, customs, and transportation requirements.

Customers must provide accurate information about a parcel and its contents when such information is required.

If a customer sends a prohibited or restricted item, provides false, incorrect, or incomplete information, conceals the nature of an item, or otherwise fails to follow applicable requirements, the customer may be responsible for consequences resulting from that action.

These consequences may include:

  • shipment delays;
  • additional transportation or handling charges;
  • inspection;
  • customs charges;
  • storage costs;
  • fines or penalties;
  • shipment rejection;
  • confiscation;
  • return or disposal by a carrier or authority; or
  • other costs arising from the non-compliant item.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Degmen is not responsible for losses, delays, or additional costs resulting from a customer’s failure to follow these requirements or from lawful actions taken by customs authorities, government authorities, or independent transportation providers.

Degmen may refuse to include any parcel in an international shipment when the parcel cannot legally or safely be transported.

12. Fragile and Damage-Sensitive Products

International transportation involves normal parcel handling, movement, consolidation, loading, and unloading.

Products such as glass, ceramics, electronics, decorative products, and other fragile or damage-sensitive goods may require appropriate protective packaging.

Products purchased from third-party sellers are normally packaged by those sellers, not by Degmen.

Degmen therefore cannot guarantee that the seller’s original packaging is suitable or sufficient for international transportation.

Customers should consider the nature, fragility, and packaging of a product before purchasing it for international forwarding.

Nothing in these Terms limits responsibility that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.

13. No Return Service

Degmen does not provide a return service for parcels received at the Degmen warehouse.

Customers should check product descriptions, size, specifications, seller policies, and other relevant information before ordering.

If a product is:

  • incorrect;
  • defective;
  • damaged;
  • unsuitable;
  • unwanted;
  • different from its description; or
  • otherwise subject to a seller dispute,

any return, refund, replacement, warranty, or product claim remains between the customer and the original seller.

Degmen is not responsible for arranging or completing returns to sellers as part of its service.

14. Customs and Government Requirements

International shipments may be inspected or processed by customs authorities, government authorities, transportation providers, or other authorized parties.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information or documentation reasonably required for their shipment.

A shipment may be subject to customs duties, taxes, inspections, documentation requirements, penalties, or other government charges.

Where these amounts are not expressly included in the Degmen service price, they may remain the customer’s responsibility.

Degmen will cooperate with customs authorities, government authorities, and transportation providers where required by applicable law.

15. Delivery Times

Any delivery date or transportation time communicated by Degmen should be considered an estimate unless Degmen explicitly states otherwise.

Delivery may be affected by circumstances including:

  • international transportation schedules;
  • customs processing;
  • inspections;
  • carrier operations;
  • weather;
  • public holidays;
  • security conditions;
  • government requirements; and
  • circumstances outside Degmen’s reasonable control.

Degmen will make reasonable efforts to provide available shipment and tracking information.

16. Local Delivery

Where a parcel is handed to a local or third-party delivery provider after arriving in the destination country, that part of the delivery may be subject to the provider’s own operational requirements.

Any local delivery charge that is not included in the Degmen international shipping price may be charged separately.

Degmen will provide available shipment information where applicable.

17. Parcel and Shipment Information

Customers should review parcel and shipment information displayed in their Degmen account and contact Degmen promptly if they believe information is incorrect.

Degmen may record information necessary to operate the service, including:

  • parcel identifiers;
  • tracking numbers;
  • physical weight;
  • dimensions;
  • volumetric weight;
  • chargeable weight;
  • applicable shipping rate;
  • payment status;
  • shipment status; and
  • delivery information.

Personal information is handled according to the Degmen Privacy Policy.

18. Refusal or Suspension of Service

Degmen may reasonably refuse, hold, or suspend a service where necessary because of:

  • prohibited or restricted goods;
  • suspected illegal activity;
  • suspected fraud;
  • unpaid shipping charges;
  • false or misleading information;
  • safety concerns;
  • customs or government requirements;
  • carrier restrictions;
  • misuse of Degmen services; or
  • violation of these Terms.

A parcel will not be added to an international shipment until required payment has been completed and confirmed.

19. Circumstances Outside Degmen’s Control

Degmen will provide its services with reasonable care.

However, some parts of international commerce and transportation involve independent third parties and authorities that Degmen does not control.

These may include sellers, manufacturers, international carriers, local carriers, customs authorities, government authorities, payment providers, and other service providers.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Degmen is not responsible for delays, losses, charges, or other consequences caused by circumstances outside Degmen’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

20. Website and Customer Portal

Degmen works to keep its website, tracking services, and customer portal available and accurate.

However, uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.

Maintenance, updates, hosting problems, network interruptions, technical problems, or other circumstances may temporarily affect access to the website or portal.

21. Privacy

Degmen collects and uses personal information necessary to provide and support its services.

Information is handled according to the Degmen Privacy Policy.

Customers should review the Privacy Policy for information about how their data is collected, used, stored, and protected.

22. Changes to These Terms

Degmen may update these Terms when its services, shipping requirements, operational practices, or applicable rules change.

The latest version will be published on this page with its updated date.

Changes will apply subject to applicable law.
